a lot of time on my own = casette tapes

The headline says what I’ve been up to today. Making cassette tapes, hah. Out of hama perler beads and seed beads. They both got a bit wonky and not how I’d like them to be. The perler beads got too ironed. I guess the iron was too hot or something. And the seed beaded one got weird because I used different sized beads. Plus I didn’t have any clear glass beads, so I just used hama beads cut in two, hah. But I had to try out the brick stitch, so it was just a tryout really.

august 3rd

Another day of beading, hah. Atleast a bit. I got weak yesterday and ordered from panduro hobby again. Not good, hah. Oh, well, it was sale, 70%, so I really HAD to take the chance :p

So what I made today, was another daisy chain. Now with white and orange flowers. And as an anklet. Feels nice and summery, hehe. But it would be cool if I had some brown seed beads, so I could make sunflowers. Unfortunately, I don’t, and I don’t remember if I ordered any yesterday. But it’s not really that important anyway

I hope tomorrow will be sunny. Right now, the firefox weathercast, says it will rain. But I’m planning a trip to the beach tomorrow, so it would be nice with sun, hehe.

 

august 1st

August started with shifting weather. It rained a bit in the morning, then it got better along the day. So I hope tomorrow will have great weather Since I’m having my vacation now, it’s great

When I got home today, I continued beading the daisy chain I had started yesterday. Found the tutorials on the internet yesterday, so I thought I would give it a go, but it got late, and I had to go see my boy

I also found a tutorial for a pretty realistic beaded fuchsia. I thought it would be cool to make that too, so I tried. The blue beads are really purple with some oily color on them, but the light made it look wierd. I also found out that the purple beads are smaller, so I should have made them longer than what the tutorial said. But now I at least have some practice, and I can make more later I ordered more red seed beads, from “perleslottet” (because “panduro hobby” has the 190kr-lower limit + 60kr shipping) and hopefully they’ll be the same. I should have just ordered a lot when I ordered from “panduro” last time, which is under a month ago, hah. But the beads and stuff are on sale, so if the red beads are different, I’ll just order more, because I really LOVE the color!
