Yep, that’s mostly what I did today. Got up at 08.00. Biked to work, started at 10.00, and had to work an ekstra hour until 19.00, which sucked but atleast I get some extra for working after 18… Then I biked REALLY fast home, because I had gotten a message from my mom that it was dinner in 15-20 minutes. When I got home, all i did was eat that dinner and then jump into the bath tub. After getting out of there, I checked the regular pages on the internet and then started a new granny square :) Finished that, and joined it with the last one. I’m getting better at it now, hehe.

Now it’s 23.08, and I’m heading off to brush my teeth, since I’m going to work at 09.00 tomorrow :)

here’s the joined granny squares:

Today was this week’s day off work. Which means I’ll be working tomorrow and Saturday, but next week will be grrrreat (free on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday ;) )

Because I spent much of last night looking at pictures of “Babette Blankets” link, I had to go downtown today to get some yarn and a new crochet hook (because my old one is somewhere in all my crafting stash, and I don’t feel like looking for it, lol. plus it’s too small) This new was of bamboo, and is really nice! I also bought cotton yarn in light yellow, orange and red. And was going to learn myself how to make granny squares. I do have a crocheting book, in Norwegian, so I could learn the basics. And there was also a recipe for a granny square. It wasn’t quite the one I’d seen on the internet, but I thought it was best to start with the original recipie. That being said, I must confess it didn’t turn out very well, haha. Atleast not in the middle, before I started understanding how it worked.

So after being finished with the first, I tried again. This time I wanted to try making a more solid (like those I saw on the internet), and it worked out pretty well too. Without any recipe, so I’m pretty proud actually. The only bad thing is that it got a little wonky. So I’m thinking it might be best to stick with the first one, with more holes, so it stays more flat. Anyway, it’s just practice..

first try:
you can see how ugly it is in the middle, haha. And then I started to understand what I was doing around the end.

second try:
It’s easy to see I already had gotten more practice :) dscn0273_2.jpg

Finally, a picture of my new sweater bought on vero moda. :)
I thought I coud take a picture of that too, while I was on it, hehe.
