The title sums it all up! I got some vanilla beans off eBay (well, “some” is actually A LOT! about 40 maybe?) and thought I should try to use one for something right away. Half of it will be vanilla extract, the rest I just will have to find some use for. They can be stored for a while as long as I keep them wrapped double in cling film, so it’s not that much of a hurry 
Anyway, I found out I could make some cupcakes/muffins. Since I had a visitor and all. So I made a small batch, added chocolate chips (a bit too many, and as it turns out Thomas isn’t much a fan of dark chocolate) and vanilla seeds & cooked them up. I think they tasted good the first day, but they had to have some glace + a glass of milk. I ended up eating almost all of them myself, so luckily I just made 8 or something
And the fun part is that they had a super funny shape! 
They all had little nipples! I think the shape was super cute. So here are pictures:
